If you love musing with futurists, or are fascinated by the bleeding edge of cyberspace or nanotech or biotech (or "nano/bio/info/cogno" tech as the organizers put it), you might like to know about an affordable two day "un"conference next week in Silicon Valley. Convergence 08, it promises debates, communing and customized instant meetups in Mountain View. If I was going to be by the Bay that day, I'd go in a hot minute since it certainly seems that you do not have to be a gearhed or scientist or VC to get something good from it.
